Questions people ask
What if the chart is not recognised?
You keep stitching. If the grid or the symbols could not be read, the chart opens as an underlay: the original page is shown as it is and your marks go on top of it — counters, progress and sync work as usual. We show exactly what failed to parse, and you can fix it by hand: nudge the grid, match a symbol to a colour.
Is it legal to upload charts I bought?
Yes, if the chart is yours. An uploaded file stays private: only you can see it, it is not published and it never enters a public catalogue. We do not break the protection of other people's closed formats and we do not hand out other people's charts. Publishing a chart for others is a separate path, with proof of rights.
What happens to my data?
Your charts and your progress belong to you. Marks are saved on the device first and keep working offline, then sync to your account. You can export everything as a single file at any moment — that is our own guard against locking you in. We do not sell data and we do not show ads.
What does it cost?
Opening a chart and marking stitches is free. Advanced capabilities will be paid; we state the price and the limits of the free tier up front and show them in the interface, not after you have paid.
